What it is

Picture the version of you that's just left their fourth Resilience session.

It's a Friday afternoon. The kind of week that, six months ago, would have ended with a sharp reply you'd quietly regret all weekend. This week, you watched yourself nearly do it three times. Each time you chose something else. The team noticed. You noticed.

You're tired. But not the tired you used to be. You leave the office at half past five. You go home as the version of yourself you actually like.

That's not motivation. That's a working system, applied to your real life. Resilience is the system.

A leader in a thoughtful working moment
What Resilience is for

Resilience isn't about pretending pressure doesn't land. It's about leading well when it does.

Most leaders we meet are already strong on the surface. They show up, they hold the line, they get through the week. The cost shows up later: in the snap decisions, the brittle conversations, the slow erosion of presence and the quiet question of how long they can keep going at this pace.

A leader in a thoughtful working moment

Resilience is a practical, behaviourally grounded programme that gives you the awareness, regulation and decision-making skills to lead well under pressure without burning yourself out doing it. Mindfulness, self-awareness, focus, regulation and confidence, taught with the precision of behavioural science and the warmth of real human conversation.

Here's who you become.

  • You become someone who notices pressure before pressure starts running you. Not in hindsight. In the moment, while you still have a choice.
  • You become the person in the room who thinks when everyone else is reacting. The presence others borrow from when their own composure slips.
  • You stop performing composure and start inhabiting it. The difference is invisible to you, obvious to everyone around you, and exhausting in one direction, free in the other.
  • You make decisions that aren't shaped by your worst day. The cleanest version of your judgement becomes the one you operate from, not the one you regret you didn't.
  • You build a rhythm of resilience that fits your real life. Not a wellness routine you'll abandon by March. A working system that survives a real week.
Is this the right fit

Resilience is built for leaders who are running hot but unwilling to dim down.

This is for you if…

  • You feel reactive, scattered or stretched more often than you'd like to admit
  • You want to stay calm and credible in difficult conversations
  • You sense your decisions are being shaped by tiredness, pressure or emotion
  • You want to build sustainable confidence, not just techniques to mask the wobble
  • You're an aspiring leader, founder, executive or ambitious professional who wants something deeper than another resilience webinar

This may not be the right fit if…

  • You're looking for a one-off motivational event
  • You want a self-paced video library you can dip in and out of
  • You're not ready to look honestly at how pressure currently lands on you

Resilience is honest, practical and personal. It is not theoretical and it is not gentle for the sake of being gentle.

Still on the fence? Let's talk for 15 minutes.

If you're not sure whether Resilience is the right fit for where you are right now, book a no-obligation call. We'll listen, ask a few questions and tell you honestly if this is for you.

Who's in the room

A small group of people doing the same work as you.

Cohorts are intentionally small (12 places) and intentionally mixed. You'll learn alongside other people facing real pressure, not in a classroom of strangers reading off slides.

"I went from a senior IC to leading a 12-person team. The technical work is the easy part."

"I'm composed on the outside. Inside, I'm running hotter than I'd like to admit."

"Three years in. Need to be sharper for longer. The pace isn't slowing down."

"I teach this work. I want to live it more consistently before I teach it differently."

Curriculum

Four sessions. Four practical shifts. One coherent pathway.

Each module is designed as a four-hour live session with deliberate space between sessions to apply the work. The result is real behavioural change, not theory you'll forget by Monday.

1 Week 1 · 4 hours live

Awareness under pressure

You can't manage what you can't see. Module 1 builds the fine-grained self-awareness that lets you notice pressure early enough to do something about it.

  • How pressure shapes your thinking, judgement and behaviour
  • Personal triggers: ego, threat, uncertainty and control
  • Your baseline self versus your pressure-state self
  • Spotting the early signals before they escalate
2 Week 2 · 4 hours live

Regulating the inner system

Regulation isn't suppression. Module 2 gives you a practical toolkit for managing emotional and cognitive load in the moment, not by pushing it down but by working with it skilfully.

  • How emotional and cognitive interference actually work
  • Regulation versus suppression, and why the difference matters
  • Mindfulness applied to leadership, not retreat
  • In-the-moment reset techniques you can use during a meeting
3 Week 3 · 4 hours live

Response and decision control

The space between what happens and how you respond is where leadership lives. Module 3 develops the disciplined attention that lets you choose the response, not default to it.

  • The stimulus-response gap and how to widen it
  • Decision-making when emotional load is high
  • Bias, narrative distortion and defensive interpretation
  • Timing, tone and the discipline of the considered response
4 Week 4 · 4 hours live

Consistency, resilience and identity

Real resilience is not endurance. It is consistency. Module 4 brings the work together into a personal operating model you can use long after the programme ends.

  • Resilience as consistency, not heroic effort
  • Recognising and pre-empting burnout signals
  • Ego, identity and defensive leadership patterns
  • Building your personal resilience operating model
Your month with Resilience

A rhythm of workshop, real-life practice, return.

Each week is structured the same way: a live half-day workshop on the Friday, then six days to test the work in your actual conversations and decisions before the next session. The spacing is what makes it stick.

What actually changes

Specific shifts, not vague promises.

If we promised "transformation" we'd be lying. What we can show you is the specific, recognisable changes that show up in the leaders who do this work.

Before this work

  • The same situations cost you energy you don't have
  • You react first, choose later, regret later still
  • You perform composure
  • Your week shapes how you show up
  • You leave Friday running on empty
  • You wonder how long you can keep doing this

After this work

  • The same situations cost you less, sometimes nothing at all
  • You respond first, with intent, on your terms
  • You inhabit it
  • You shape how your week unfolds
  • You leave Friday with something left
  • You stop wondering and start building

What you walk out with

Four frameworks. One leader you can run on. For the rest of your career.

Resilience isn't a feeling you chase. It's a system you build. By the end of the programme you have four practical tools you can use for the rest of your leadership life, long after the workshop ends.

Your trigger map

You stop being surprised by yourself. You see exactly what pulls you off-centre, why, and how to catch it earlier than you ever have before.

Your regulation toolkit

You walk into the hard meeting with tools you can use during the meeting, not techniques you remember on the drive home.

Your decision protocol

The decisions that used to drain you become the ones you make cleanly. The choice gets made by the best version of you, not the tired one.

Your operating model

A personal framework for consistency, energy and presence that fits your actual life. Built by you, with us. Owned by you, forever.

Format

A rhythm that respects how real change actually happens.

Resilience is delivered as four live half-day sessions over four weeks. The spacing matters. Each session gives you a focused framework. The week between sessions gives you the chance to test it in the conversations and decisions that actually matter, then bring real-world examples back into the room.

4 live half-day sessions

Each session runs 10am to 2:30pm on a Friday, kept to a small cohort.

One month of focused practice

Application between sessions is part of the programme, not an afterthought.

Optional 1-to-1 coaching

Common questions

Frequently asked questions about Resilience

Behavioural Edge is delivered live from the EmotionIntell studio. The format is designed to feel focused, personal and professional: strong facilitation, clear visuals, high-quality audio and a teaching style closer to a working conversation than a passive webinar.

No. Resilience is a complete programme on its own. Many participants choose to follow up with Impact within a few months because the inner work makes the outer work easier. The bundle saves £600 if you decide to do both.
No. Mindfulness is one of the practical tools we use in Module 2, but Resilience covers far more: self-awareness, emotional regulation, decision-making under load, identity and consistency. It is grounded in behavioural science, not a single practice.
Coaching is one-to-one, conversation-led and shaped around your goals. Resilience is a structured programme with frameworks, tools and a clear curriculum. You can add 1-to-1 coaching alongside it if you want both.
Yes. Experienced participants tend to use Resilience to tighten what they already know, fill in the practical gaps and build a more deliberate operating model. The depth of the behavioural science underneath the work tends to surprise them.
All published cohorts run live online. Private cohorts for organisations can be delivered in person on request.
We try to keep cohorts together. If you have to miss one, we'll work with you to catch up before the next session, either through a recording (where available), a brief 1-to-1 with the facilitator or by joining the same module in the next series.
For organisations

Build a more resilient leadership bench.

If your senior leaders, high potentials or whole leadership team would benefit from doing Resilience together, we run private cohorts shaped around your context. Examples, language and case work are tuned to the real challenges your leaders face. Outcomes are agreed up front so the programme creates change you can see.

The version of you, four weeks from now

You are four Fridays away from being a different kind of leader.

The next cohort starts 15th July. Twelve places. Once they're gone they're gone until October. Pick the route that fits where you are.
